Program

8-Week Youth Performance & Biomechanics Clinic

This 8-week performance clinic, beginning the first week of February, is designed to develop strong, resilient, and efficient young athletes through a blend of strength & conditioning and corrective biomechanics.

Athletes will be assessed using VALD Performance technology at the start of the program to establish objective baseline data on strength, asymmetries, and movement capacity. This data will inform individualized programming and enable us to track progress throughout the 8 weeks. Training will focus on improving movement quality, force production, injury resilience, and overall athletic performance, building a strong foundation that carries over to sports and long-term development.

What This Program Delivers:

  • Improved strength, balance, and coordination, and confidence
  • Better movement mechanics to support long-term athletic development
  • Reduced risk of overuse and non-contact injuries

How We Do It

  • Structured sessions combining:
    • Movement preparation and mobility
    • Age-appropriate strength training
    • Corrective exercises targeting common youth athlete issues
  • VALD Performance Testing
    • Conducted at the start of the program to establish an objective baseline data
    • Measures strength, asymmetries, and movement capacity
    • Allows training to be individualized, not generic

The End Goal

Athletes complete this clinic stronger, more coordinated, and moving with better mechanics, while developing the foundational skills required for long-term athletic development. Rather than focusing on short-term gains, this program emphasizes developing durable movement patterns, balanced strength, and body awareness that support continued improvement as training demands increase with age. The result is an athlete who can train harder, perform better, and stay healthier over time — with a physical foundation designed to reduce injury risk, support future specialization in sports, and promote sustainable athletic progress through the teenage years and beyond.
