JUNIORS CAMP
General Information: Soccer Juniors is Bethesda Soccer’s early childhood program aimed at instilling basic-level skills and a love for soccer. The program focuses on giving players the foundations of passing, dribbling, shooting, organization, and teamwork to apply it later in the older age groups. While the skill sessions are essential, so too is the aspect of fun. Players learn to enjoy the game in an environment that encourages learning and play. Campers are split up according to age group, and each camp session will include games, exercises, and small-sided scrimmages.

Bethesda SC runs the Elite Day Camp, Evening Camp, and SSL Hours Camp.
Elite Camp will run from 8:30 am -2:00 pm, each devoted to a specific skill or training situation, followed by short-sided games and technical work. Players will work on tactical training in the second half of camp and participate in scrimmages based on skill level.
Evening camp (6:30-8:30 pm), the high-school-aged players (14 and above) will work on tactical and technical training designed to sharpen players' skills before the fall season. Our older players will work with our MLS Next and ECNL staff on fitness, strength, conditioning, and small-sided activities. The younger campers (13 and younger) will work on their technical training with a syllabus similar to the morning Elite Camp.
High School Training Camp is structured for players to work with our Bethesda coaching staff on tactics and specific in-game scenarios in the morning and then get SSL hours in the afternoon.
Camp schedules will go out weekly on the Friday before camp (around noon-1 pm) and Sunday evening (around 7 pm). Please make sure that your LeagueApps account is set up to receive messages.
Campers should bring a mask, sunscreen, water, a snack (optional), hand sanitizer, sneakers and cleats, shin guards, a soccer ball (labeled with your camper's name), and comfortable clothes.
