EKKONO IS A FOOTBALL TRAINING METHOD USED BY MORE THAN 40 PROFESSIONAL CLUBS, FOOTBALL FEDERATIONS, AND UNIVERSITIES ALL OVER THE WORLD.

What is ekkono?

The Ekkono Method

The Ekkono Method, a well-regarded soccer training methodology, emphasizes fostering players who excel in game interpretation and decision-making. Conceived over 20 years ago by David Hernández and Carles Romagosa, it's a cognitive soccer training approach aiming to create "smart players" capable of finding intelligent solutions during play. The core objective is to ensure players can accurately interpret the game dynamics and respond effectively, enhancing their overall on-pitch performance.

This Clinic is designed to run throughout the entire season, ensuring that players absorb the key concepts appropriate for their age group to progress and prepare for the next stage in their development. It follows the same logic as a school curriculum, where students must understand specific topics before advancing to the next grade.

We’ve carefully selected the essential concepts for each age group and organized them into six-week blocks. By attending consistently throughout the season, players will be fully prepared to take the next step in their development journey.

Registration Info

Registration is limited to 16 field players per session. Our clinic sessions are open to both boys and girls.

  • One Training session per week
  • One Evaluation at the end of the two clinics
  • Video analysis (1 over 6 weeks)
    • In this activity, players can prove their knowledge about the concept we’ve been working on that month.
