Coach Dan Murphy has 15 years of experience as a youth soccer coach focused on player development. He began his coaching career in 2009 at Cristo Rey Jesuit School in Baltimore, MD, where he served as a volunteer assistant coach.
He later went on to serve as Assistant Coach for the Baltimore Bays US Soccer Development Team at the u13-14 level, to Baltimore Armour USSDA U18/19, and Pipeline.
Dan later served as Assistant Coach for Baltimore Celtic 2003 Premier for three seasons, helping the team reach three straight National Championship appearances and three straight National League Titles. The team obtained the #1 National rankings on multiple occasions.
Most recently, he has served as Head Coach of Washington Capital United’s 2005 and 2006 Boys Teams, respectively, where he has coached for the past three seasons.
Coach Dan is currently in the process of pursuing his D License, and has coached over 30 players who have gone on to play NCAA soccer.
