BSC-DC SCORES Community Partnership
To continue our mission of provide a competitive, supportive, challenging, and fun environment for players of all backgrounds to reach their potential through the game of soccer Bethesda Soccer Club will be partnering with DC Scores.
What is DC Scores?
DC Scores is a program that was founded in 1994 that creates neighborhood teams that give kids in need the confidence and skills to succeed on the playing field, in the classroom, and in life. Their program, which runs in 12 week semesters, focuses on poetry and spoken word (how to write creatively and perform in front of an audience), service learning (Projects range from neighborhood and schools cleanups, to awareness campaigns, to raising money for the homeless), and of course soccer.
WHAT WILL THE PARTNERSHIP CONSIST OF?
BSC and DC Scores will collaborate and provide new, meaningful opportunities to members of their community through:
● Coaching Education
● Player Experiences (Camps, clinics, and volunteer opportunities)
● Equipment Donation
● Co-marketing of soccer and non-soccer related events (DC Scores Poetry Slam, Community Service activities, etc.)
● Jersey Sponsorship
