Soccer here in the United States has grown immensely over the past 40 years. Since the beginning Bethesda Soccer Club has been at the forefront of the sport’s rapids expansion not just in the DMV, but across the United States.

Our Boys and Girls programs offer specialized to meet each players needs and demands. Whether that is identification clinics, our goalkeeper sessions, or our individualized training sessions with world class coaches like Philip Gyau or Shannon Cirovski our club offers trainings and skill sessions tailored to meet the needs of each player.
World-class coaching staff
BSC currently employs 56 coaches for our 63 teams. Our coaching staff currently includes multiple USSF ‘A’ Level licenses and NSCAA Advanced Diploams, multiple state and national champions at both the club and high school levels, a USSF Soccer Hall of Famer, a member of the United Soccer Coaches Board of Directors, and multiple members of the United States and Women’s National Teams. Our players are the direct beneficiary of our elite level of coaching with many of our alumni going on to play in the English Premier League, the Bundesliga, Major League Soccer, and the National Women’s Soccer League. BSC also gives our coaches opportunities to continue their learning off of the pitch through guest lecturers like Athletic Bilbao’s Keke and trips to England, Scotland, Portugal, and Spain.
Our Boys and Girls programs play at the most advanced levels of competition and have a proven track record of success. Throughout its history BSC has won multiple USYSA, Region I, NCSL, EDP, and State Cup titles and consistently places at the top of the ECNL and USSDA. Our players also have the opportunity for further training through the Olympic Development Programme, the Super Y Summer League, and in the winter through our association with SoFive Soccer Center and Healthy Baller.
Player Placement and the pathway to college
In the past 20 years BSC has placed over 457 players in Division I, II, and III schools across the United States. Those schools include Columbia University Colgate University, Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard, the University of Maryland at College Park, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Princeton University, and Yale University. Our club is committed to providing our players with every opportunity to play at the college level and to enrich their lives through obtaining a college education.

A BSC player has an array of tools to give them the opportunity to not just improve on the pitch, but also prepare them for college and life. Through our partnerships with Soccer Parenting Association, SportsRecruits, and Hudl and through guest lectures and events we give our players a pathway to college and a chance to succeed in the world.
