NOTE: The age groups below are for the following fall/spring year.  For example, a team listed as U14 below will play as U14 for fall 2008 and spring 2009.

Selected players will be enrolled in the Bethesda Soccer Club Youth Development Program.  The program is a development academy where players will receive age-appropriate training and playing opportunities under the direction of dedicated and licensed coaches.  The focus is on the joy of play and the development of technical skills. Players will build on the success of current and former players in WAGS, ODP, US National Teams and colleges across the country. Older club players participate regularly in training and offer insight, friendship, and positive role models for our younger players.

BOYS

The Club will be putting together new U8 teams for the fall season. Tryouts will take place at Tilden MS (11211 Old Georgetown Road, Rockville, MD, 20852) on the following dates:

• Monday, 12 May - 4:30 to 6:00

• Monday, 19 May - 4:30 to 6:00

• Monday, 2 June - 6:00 to 7:30

BOYS

AC Bethesda is holding tryouts on May 19, 21, 28 and June 2, 4, 9, 11 at Norwood School.  Please check this website for changes in case of inclement weather.  Interested players and their parents please contact Coach Brett at (703) 304-7857 or brettcolton@yahoo.com for further information.

AC Bethesda is looking for athletic, competitive, serious and passionate soccer players.  AC Bethesda's performance is continuously recognized on a national level in rankings compiled by GotSoccer.com and NationalSoccerRanking.com.  The team has been ranked as high as 5^th (GotSoccer - April 2008) in the country.

AC Bethesda plays in Division 1 of NCSL and high level tournaments, looks to finish in the top of its age group, and continues to develop player skills through training and summer camps.  Brett Colton, USSF licensed and a Maryland Olympic Development Program staff coach, coaches the team.
