Internationals Win Stewart Cup
The U17 Boys Bethesda Internationals won the prestigious Stewart Cup, Maryland's amateur competition run by the Maryland State Soccer Association. Although a separate tournament is held today for the Amateur Cup, this knockout competition is still popular as a number of amateur teams from around the state compete for the Stewart Cup. A few youth teams have entered the tournament over the years and the Internationals are the first youth side to lift the trophy.
