|About Michael Montross:
Coach Montross is in his second season at Georgetown University where he is involved in all aspects of the program including coaching, scouting and marketing. The Hoyas soccer program saw a 2012 historic year which included an appearance in the NCAA championship game, a BIG EAST regular season title and 4 seniors drafted into MLS (Major League Soccer).
As a collegiate, Montross was a Dickinson College midfielder four-year starter and letter winner for the Red Devils. Montross spent a semester abroad where he worked with Terence Morris of Regal FC Barcelona and trained with UDAF Sant Marti, a Spanish semi-pro club. He also played in Brazil and Italy.
In 2009, Montross played with the D.C. United Super-20 squad which went undefeated in conference play and advanced to the national semifinals.
Coach Montross was also a member of the Maryland Olympic Development team for six seasons and his ODP squad won Region 1 in 2005.
Montross is a coach with the Bethesda Soccer Club’s Youth Development Program.
