Coach Barclay holds a USSF ‘B’ License and is a 5 yr Major League Soccer (MLS) professional soccer player (Forward) veteran for the Tampa Bay Mutiny, DC United, San Jose Earthquakes, and Columbus Crew. Barclay represented the U.S. National team at the Under-18, Under-20, and Under-23 levels. As the American football placekicker for The Ohio State Buckeyes, Barclay scored the game winning kick against the Iowa Hawkeyes on November 14, 2009, ensuring Rose Bowl play. He clinched the win for Ohio State in the 2009 Rose Bowl in the last few seconds of the game. After graduation, Barclay accepted the position as Director of Coaching for the nationally Renowned Rush Soccer Club, headquartered in Denver. See Washington Post Story: Back to Soccer Roots
