Bethesda Academy U16's heads to USSDA Playoff Knockout Rounds After Undefeated Group Performance Semi Final's (Knockout Round) by going undefeated, 2 wins and 1 tie against a competitive Playoff Group D at the USSDA Championships June 22 - June 26, 2017. Link

Bethesda Academy U16 gave up only one goal in 3 games, which was a penalty. Here is a look at the games. Bethesda's first game, Baraka Klingi scored in the 32 minute to deliver the sealed 1-0 win over Real So Cal U15-U16. Next game, Klingi came back again and delivered the equalizer at the 57 minute vs. Oakwood Soccer Club in the 1-1 tie game on June 24th. Uriel Zeitz delivered a double blow at 45 and 51 minutes and then Jherson Machado followed with a 78 minute 3rd goal to finalized the score at 3-0 against Capital Area Railhawks - CASL U-15/16. 

On the path to playoffs, Bethesda Academy U16 had beaten competition and rivals such as: DC United, NYFC, NY Red Bull's, PDA, Baltimore Armour, and tied Philadelphia Union. 

Truly a dynamic team that includes BSC's Gabe Segal, the U.S. U-16 national team forward who scored 23 of the team’s 38 goals during the regular season. 

The USSDA Knockout rounds will begin July 6th for the U-15/16 age group, concluding with the final to be played on July 14th. Bethesda Academy U16 plays Atlanta United on July 6th at 7:00pm at Atlanta United Training Center.

Unfortunately the U18's will not proceed to Knockout Round, but had an amazing regular season.The Bethesda Academy U18 qualified for the playoffs through a wildcard spot after finishing the season with a 13-7-5 record and were placed in a group with Crossfire Premier, New England Revolution and Weston FC.

Bethesda Academy U18's graduate players to top programs across the country including Louisville, George Mason, Duquesne, Harvard, Maryland, Cornell, Clemson, Georgetown, George Washington, James Madison, Williams and American.
