2013 Winter Academy Showcase Success: Bethesda-Olney U16 Three Game Shutout

BETHESDA,MARYLAND (USA) -----------FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2013-----Bethesda-Olney U-15/16 headed to the Winter Showcase in Lakewood Ranch, Florida and took on Academy opponents in full force. 

The U16's came out with the full nine points with shutouts in all three games. A 2-0 win over the Columbus Crew academy was followed by 4-0 win over the Minnesota Thunder before the team polished the week with a 1-0 win over the San Diego Surf.

Lukas Michael Zinngrebe, Bethesda-Olney was also named as one 'The Best U16 XI from the Florida Showcase' by Top Drawer The players on the list represented those that saw in person. 

'There wasn’t a better U16 back line in Florida than the one Bethesda-Olney put forward, and 
Zinnegrebe’s influence

was undeniable. Bethesda-Olney hardly had an easy road in Florida, and yet they came out with the full nine 

 with shutouts in all three games.'
