Bethesda-Olney Tops Regional Rival Baltimore Bays Chelsea, 2 Wins and 1 Tie in Week 5

Bethesda, Maryland (USA) ---------Tuesday, October 8, 2013
---- Bethesda-Olney tops regional rival Baltimore Bays Chelsea recording 2 Wins and 1 Tie in Week 5 of U.S. Soccer Development Academy play.  Bethesda-Olney Pre-Academy recorded 1 win and 1 loss to Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC).  

"This was a fantastic day for Bethesda-Olney playing a club that we really respect, particularly on the sub standard playing surfaces, we had great results with 2 wins and 1 tie," explained U15/16 Bethesda-Olney Coach Brett Colton.

"With 5 games in, Matt's U13/14's and my U15/16's have come together resulting in better communication and cohesiveness and it shows in our playing style and results", Colton adds, "I started with 7 new players from 6 different teams that have worked to bond together; now we feel like a team."

, Eric Matzelevich, is getting ready to attend the U-17 Men’s National Team residency training October 20-26, 2013 at Bradenton, Florida. 

Some of the Bethesda Olney Academy has a short break until they face Virginia Rush Academy on October 27, 2013 at Richard Montgomery Fields. Bethesda Olney U13/14's will face Richmond Strikers this weekend at West Creek Fields in Richmond, Virginia. Bethesda Olney U15/16's will travel to New York on Oct 19 for a scrimmage/friendly versus New York Red bulls.
